Elementary French Teacher (Fall 2024)
Job description:
Providence Academy seeks an experienced and faith-filled elementary French teacher to join our Lower
School faculty. At Providence Academy, you will find an excellent and positive work environment,
including a supportive, faith-filled, professional team of colleagues. This position is benefit-eligible
(0.8 FTE) and is assigned to teaching students in grades 3, 4 and 5.
Qualifications:
- Strong support for Catholic teaching and the school’s Catholic mission and focus
- Fluency in the French language
- Hold a B.A./B.S. or higher level degree,
- Experience teaching groups of elementary age children, preferably in the French language
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Demonstrate rapport with elementary students and their parents
Qualifications strongly preferred include:
- Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education or French Education

Elementary Math Specialist (part-time)
Job description:
Providence Academy seeks an experienced and faith-filled elementary math specialist teacher to join
our Lower School faculty during the 2024-25 school year. The position is part-time (.6) and is assigned
to supporting grade 1-5 students in small groups. You will work with classroom teachers and the
learning support team to identify students with targeted needs in math and will work with those
students in small grade-level groups. In this position you will join an excellent, professional, and
supportive team of teachers.
Qualifications:
● Strong support for Catholic teaching and the school’s Catholic mission and focus
● Strong background in teaching elementary or middle school math
● Holds a B.A./B.S. or higher level degree
● Experience teaching groups of elementary age children
● Excellent classroom management skills

Bus Driver
Providence Academy has a rare opening for a dependable AM/PM school bus route driver!
Split Shift • One Campus • One Tier
All routes buses are 29 – 32 passenger school buses, and most have fewer than 15 students assigned
AM Run
Leave the lot between 6:30 – 6:55 am and finish by 8:20 am
PM Run
Report in at 3:00 pm and finish by 5:00 pm
Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
- Guaranteed 4 hours each day school is in session
- 20 hours per week with additional hours available!
Requirements:
- 21 years or older
- Safe driving record and a valid driver’s license for at least two years.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsement OR the ability to upgrade driver’s license to a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement.
- Able to successfully pass a background check, pre-employment DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
