Qualifications:
- Committed, practicing Catholic, enthusiastic about living, modeling and teaching the Catholic
faith. - Elementary teaching experience
- Hold a B.A./B.S. or higher level degree,
- Professional, polished demeanor
- Strong communication and written skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to communicate well with parents/guardians of students

Qualifications strongly preferred include:

Lower School Assistant (Fall 2024)
Job description:
Providence Academy seeks an experienced and faith-filled Lower School Assistant to join our Lower
School faculty. At Providence Academy, you will find an excellent and positive work environment,

competitive compensation.
Part-time: 25-30 hours per week (approximately)
Between the hours of 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Qualifications
– Fully support and model the Catholic mission of Providence Academy
– Consistently support and reinforce teacher goals and objectives
– Assist students, individually or in small groups, with lesson assignments provided by the teacher
– Maintain classroom equipment, and work area, for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and
providing a safe learning environment
– Assist with supervision of students during lunch, recess/free play periods, and specialist class periods
– Assist teachers with the preparation of lesson materials and organization of supplies and curricular
material
– Maintain flexibility as a full “team member” in meeting classroom and school-wide goals
– Assist teacher in providing a positive learning environment by applying behavior expectations in a
consistent manner while respecting the child’s dignity
– Communicate with teachers, support staff, and parents in a positive manner
Qualifications strongly preferred include:
– High School diploma require
– Experience working with or supervising young children in a preschool or group activity setting

Bus Driver
Providence Academy has a rare opening for a dependable AM/PM school bus route driver!
Split Shift • One Campus • One Tier
All routes buses are 29 – 32 passenger school buses, and most have fewer than 15 students assigned
AM Run
Leave the lot between 6:30 – 6:55 am and finish by 8:20 am
PM Run
Report in at 3:00 pm and finish by 5:00 pm
Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
- Guaranteed 4 hours each day school is in session
- 20 hours per week with additional hours available!
Requirements:
- 21 years or older
- Safe driving record and a valid driver’s license for at least two years.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsement OR the ability to upgrade driver’s license to a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement.
- Able to successfully pass a background check, pre-employment DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
