Providence Academy’s Gala on Saturday evening set record after record! Thank you to everyone who attended, bid on items in the silent and live auctions, sponsored the event, and supported our fund-a-need (both of them!). Early returns show that the Gala brought in over $630,000 in gross proceeds, substantially more than any other PA Gala. Special thanks go to our Gala Chair, Mrs. Nichole Schelitzche, all members of the Gala Committee, as well as all those who volunteered throughout the night to pull off this tremendous event.
Our original fund-a-need project of augmenting our nurse’s office, admissions office, and faculty/staff lunchroom was easily accomplished thanks to our early sponsor gifts. So, we decided at the last minute to add a new fund-a-need project – the construction of an additional Grill Line on the west side of the Great Room. This will allow our food service staff to better serve our students – allowing double service lines of popular lunch entrees to move students through the line in an efficient and effective manner, while still offering both main line and grill line options every day. With record participation and funds raised, we are eager to add this new lunch service space to serve all our students for years to come. Construction will commence this summer. If you did not get a chance to contribute, please contact Mr. Josh Anderson, Director of Development, to support this great project. Bon appetit!
